May 13, 2010 – The First Fundraiser “Children Are Our Future”
On May 13, 2010 the Children’s Centre Mechta held it’s first Fundraiser “Children are our future”. It was the first ever charity event organized by the Russian community of Montreal. The initiative was supported by the Federal and Provincial Governments.
The Right and Honorable Prime Minister of Canada Steven Harper and Honorable Minister of MICC Madame Yolande James sent their greetings on this occasion.
Proceeds from this event will provide bursaries and scholarships for talented children and funds for future development of the Centre.
